If you are here it’s definitely because you are interested in updating your list with fresh new good looking fonts. Every designer from the biggest ones to the smallest (depending the popularity) uses free fonts. Some of them takes a free font and modify it to look more unique and integrate better with the design. They do it so well so you think that’s really impressive and also you can bet it’s premium or created by him. Practically it’s made by him but built from a basic free font.
What I am trying to say it’s that you can create unique typography from free fonts too! All designers have free and premium fonts in their list so it’s always a good thing to update your list either way depending on your financial status.

I am not encouraging to use only free fonts but I am saying that near your premium fonts it’s always place for some free fonts. Let’s face it, how many designers use only premium fonts? I can assure you that nobody uses only one category. Everybody loves the free word!
